Grants High School will present the annual Festival Concert on Tuesday, March 14th at 7 pm at the Grants High School Auditorium. Admission is $5 and tickets are available in advance on the GHS website or by using the QR code attached to this email. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the night of the concert. Proceeds from the concert support the activities of the GHS Music Program. Please help us spread the word by sharing this email.
At the Festival Concert, the GHS Concert Band, Choir, and Jazz Band will present music that they have prepared for performance at music festivals in the month of March. On Wednesday, March 1st the GHS Concert Band will travel to Bloomfield High School to participate in the Northwest New Mexico Music Performance Assessment for Band. On Wednesday, March 8th, the GHS Choir will travel to Piedra Vista HS in Farmington for the Choir Music Performance Assessment. On Friday, March 31st, the GHS Jazz Band will host the Northwest New Mexico Jazz Festival at the Grants HS Auditorium. For the Choir and the Jazz Band, this year will be the first return to music festivals after the COVID shutdowns. The GHS Performance Groups have been working hard to prepare for this year's festival season.
