Big Shout Out to incoming Junior, Gary Chavez! Gary was awarded the very 1st Angry Jack Beast of the Week Award! Gary displayed max effort and leadership in the weightroom and on the field last week! Congrats Gary! Keep showing out and letting em know what it takes to be The Angry Jack Beast of the Week!!!
Due to the flooding on Friday, all district facilities are closed for today, 6/24/24.
The flash flood caused some vehicles parked in the GHS parking lot behind the football field to be blocked in when the waters broke down fences and culverts were moved by the water.
The culverts are blocking some cars, and the City's subcontractors cannot move the culverts until at least Monday.
The construction on Roosevelt Avenue is a City of Grants project, not a school district project.
However, if vehicle owners whose cars are stuck in the parking lot wish to move their vehicles, they will be doing so at their own risk.
The District recommends waiting for the contractors to work to clear the area first.
Cibola County Public Health Office will hold its annual Vaccination Event for Back to School. Please be sure your student is up-to-date on their vaccinations. If you need more information on requirements, please visit: https://www.gccs.k12.nm.us/page/health-services

Hello everyone,
Please know that there will be a meeting for any NEW incoming or prospective GHS Football players and their parents/guardians. This meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 28th at 5:00 pm in the stadium bleachers.
Please note, if you or your student-athlete is already part of the program, this meeting is not for you. This is exclusively for potential new student-athletes ONLY.

All Grants Cibola County Schools will be on an early release on Friday, May 24, 2024. Elementary Schools will be released at 11:45 am. All Middle and High Schools will be released at noon.
