Dear Grants High School Community, We are aware of a social media post circulating a list of New Mexico schools, including Grants High School, as potential targets. Please be assured that we take this situation very seriously and are working closely with the Grants Police Department (GPD) to identify the source and assess any potential threat. At this time, there is no credible information indicating danger to our school, and there is no reason for alarm. However, if anyone has information about this post, we strongly encourage you to contact GPD or the school administration. We also ask that our community refrain from sharing unverified information or posts like this, as it can cause unnecessary panic and anxiety. Our primary goal is to maintain a calm, safe, and secure environment for our students, staff, and community. We are committed to keeping you informed and will provide updates as necessary. Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 28th, is an Early Release Day for Grants Cibola County Schools students and a Professional Development Day for staff. Grades PreK to 6 students will be released at 12:45 PM and grades 7 to12 students will be released at 1:00 PM.
